Known as the world's highest urban microbrewery, this contembrewery dining restaurant offers a gorgeous, unobstructed view of Singapore's Marina Bay and city skyline while you dine.

Something interesting about the food at LeVeL33 is that it's infused with beer brewing elements. Hops has a floral and citrusy flavour, Yeast adds an enriched aroma, Malt provides texture and Spent Grains enhances both flavour and texture.

They have different menus for weekday lunch, dinner and on weekends. Most are gluten-free and they also offer vegetarian options. Their weekday set lunch ($42) consists of an entree, main course and fruits & cheeses while the weekend lunch has items like BBQ Pork Ribs ($39.50) and Wagyu Tri-Tip ($46.50). Or you could go for their a la carte dinner menu with dishes like Corn-Fed AnXin Chicken ($32) and Black Garlic Carbonara ($26).

#2 Vue

Vue has two al fresco dining areas: the Terrace, a narrow space that fits diners in pairs, and the Pavilion, a larger sheltered area for bigger groups of diners. Both offer a cosy and romantic ambience with a lovely view of Marina Bay.

The restaurant serves a mix of Asian and Western cuisine with an emphasis on binchōtan-grilled specialities including meats and seafood. This method of grilling uses kilned Japanese white oak which creates a deep smokiness and a unique, enhanced flavour.

From 24th till 27th December, the restaurant will be serving a Christmas Dinner from their Chef's Christmas Menu at the al fresco areas for $50 per pax.

#3 Loof

This whimsical rooftop bar celebrates local culture from the neon Chinese character sign to Southeast Asian cocktails and bar grub with a local twist. The surrounding greenery and a cool mix of minimalist high stools and retro wicker chairs make for a relaxing, laid-back dining spot with a view of Raffles Hotel and the CBD skyline.

Although it's a bar and not a restaurant, there are enough menu options to make this a dinner escapade such as Chili Crab Waffle Fries ($15) and Loof Original Ramly burger ($23).

#4 Panamericana

Panamericana isn't situated on top of a towering skyscraper like many of the restaurants in this list but the gorgeous surrounding greenery more than makes up for it. Located at the prestigious Sentosa Gold Club, this restaurant has out-of-Singapore vibes with a view of a lush, perfectly manicured lawn and the South China Sea.

You can opt to dine indoors where there are floor-to-ceiling windows for natural light and a subtle peek outside, or go for the al fresco seats to get the full glittering view.

They specialise in farm-to-fire cuisine that are typical of Argentina as well as around North, Central and South America. This includes grilled, roasted and charred whole meats and vegetables like Colombian Chicken ($28/$56), Blackmore Carne Asada Tacos ($28) and Lamb Al Asador ($65).

#5 Kinki Restaurant & Bar

This Japanese restaurant has a rooftop dining area that offers an amazing view of Singapore Marina skyline.

While the restaurant is open from 12pm, the rooftop is available for dinner only. Some of their signature dishes are the sharing mains Wagyu Garlic Teppanyaki ($55), Crispy Ume Kurobuta Belly ($28) and Crusty Lamb Rack ($45). There's a good variety of meat-free items on their menu too.

Stellar has a picturesque dining space at level 62 of 1 Raffles Place with seamless floor-to-ceiling walls that offer fantastic views. They've since outdone themselves with a new rooftop al fresco dining space. There, you'll have an unadulterated 360 degree view of Singapore's cityscape while you dine.

The Australian restaurant menu reflects Australia's diversity so you can expect influences from around the world in their contemporary cuisine. Some menu items are the Australian rump cap with Chervil-infused red wine glaze and broccolini on the side ($60) and the Smoked Eel with US asparagus topped with parmesan cream, chives and feta ($28).

The rooftop is only open for dinner so we recommend getting there before the sun sets to capture yourself in the flatter golden hour sunlight for the 'gram. If you're celebrating a special occasion, you could go for their extravagant 5-course dinner ($150++).

If you like the view of alfresco rooftop seats but don't fancy the humidity and heat, CÉ LA VI offers a comfortable dining experience that's somewhere in-between. Located at the rooftop of Marina Bay Sands, the restaurant has an air conditioned seating area that also offers a view of the Singapore skyline.

But if you really want to soak in the open air and enjoy a clearer view of the skyline, request for the alfresco seats or hop over to the neighbouring CÉ LA VI SkyBar.

This chain restaurant serving classic Italian cuisine has three outlets in Singapore and the one at Esplanade has an al fresco rooftop bar and dining area.

Expect hearty Italian fare like hand-opened thin-crust pizzas ($22/$26), Chorizo & Bacon Risotto ($25) and Carbonara Classico ($14/$19) without cream which is the true, authentic Italian version of the dish. There's also a selection of Southeast Asian contemporary dishes and desserts.
