New Shake Shack At VivoCity Has A Gorgeous Alfresco Dining Area, New Desserts & Drink
Following the Shack Shack at Suntec City that opened its doors in September, there will soon be a new one at VivoCity.
To recap, there are now a total of five Shake Shack outlets in Singapore which might make this new VivoCity shack seem less exciting. But, of course, this burger joint always has a way of pulling us in for more.
Opening its doors on 1 December, this VivoCity shack has a gorgeous alfresco dining area facing the boardwalk and sea as well as two new exclusive concretes and a new limited time shake.

Probably one of the larger shacks in Singapore, the VivoCity outlet has plenty of seats both indoors and outdoors.

We chose a seat at the scenic outdoor dining area by the Sentosa Boardwalk. It was raining that day but thankfully the area is completely sheltered. The hanging lights and sea view created an idyllic, relaxing atmosphere that gave our dining experience a somewhat atas flair uncharacteristic of most fast casual restaurants. Perhaps we might be biased towards alfresco dining, but we both agreed that this shack was our new favourite out of the five.

If you prefer to dine in the comfort of air con like a true Singaporean, the interior also has a stylish setting with Shake Shack's classic laid back, minimalist design and colourful art by local artist and illustrator Eeshaun.

Besides the alfresco dining experience, the VivoCity shack also has two other reasons to dine there: new exclusive concretes. Sugee Boogie has Mrs Kueh orange citrus sugee cake blended with frozen vanilla custard white Viva La Vivo has frozen vanilla custard with strawberries, ice cream cone shards and rainbow sprinkles (single: $7.50, double: $9.50). While Viva La Vivo has a more IG-ready presentation, we preferred the Sugee Boogie for the tangy, rich and crumbly cake pieces that went perfectly with the creamy custard.

From 1 - 6 December 2020, the Great Shake Sale will run across all shacks in Singapore. Get into the spirit of giving by purchasing Christmas Cookie Shake vouchers($2 each) which are redeemable on the next visit.
The fan-favourite Christmas Cookie Shake ($7.80) is an Instagrammable drink made of sugar cookie blended with frozen custard and topped with whipped cream, crumbled shortbread and holiday sprinkles. We recommend sharing this shake between two or more of your friends; it was a challenge to finish the entire drink solo, as delicious as it was!

All voucher proceeds will be directed towards Children's Wishing Well, a Singapore-based non-profit organisation supporting children and youth from low-income families. Their work includes assisting with educational and daily living needs as well as equipping the children with skills for their future.
If you're willing to brave the queues on opening day, you may be rewarded for the effort as the first 100 guests at Shake Shack VivoCity will receive exclusive Shack swag.
