New Sumikko Gurashi 7-Eleven Store In Taipei, Taiwan Looks Just Like A Cute Themed Cafe
Sure, Singapore has the new retro Coca-Cola-themed 7-Eleven store at Raffles Place, but somehow the grass seems greener on the other side.
In this case, said grass is in Taipei, Taiwan where there are Hello Kitty-themed and Snoopy-themed 7-Eleven stores giving shoppers a kawaii overload. Joining these adorable Taipei stores is the new Sumikko Gurashi 7-Eleven store that looks like a themed cafe!

Conveniently located a few steps from the Beimen (North Gate) MRT station on the Songshan Line, the new Sumikko Gurashi 7-Eleven store just opened its doors on 16 October and it's filled with photo opportunities at every corner.

The store was specially designed by San-X with a cute bread theme. The ceiling decor and photo wall has Sumikko Gurashi and bread designs, while the 23-seater dining area has chairs with different characters holding a piece of Sumikko Gurashi character-shaped bread.

Even the merchandise shelf has a cute bread shape!

At the entrance is a 1.7m-tall statue of the Sumikko Gurashi characters stacked on top of each other.

The store's CITY CAFÉ has special drink cups and oden bowls with Sumikko Gurashi designs.
