Lotte's Magic Forest: New European-Style Theme Park In Busan, Korea Opening In 2021
Plenty of new theme parks have been springing up all over the world lately - such as the Line Friends Village in Bangkok and Sylvanian Families theme park in Osaka. More are slated to open in the next few years, including USJ’s Super Nintendo World in 2021 and Tokyo’s Harry Potter theme park in 2023.
Another one to add to your bucket list is Lotte’s Magic Forest in Korea, which is scheduled to open its gates in Summer 2021. Here’s what you can expect.
Read on to find out more about the new Lotte’s Magic Forest theme part in Korea!
Lotte’s Magic Forest is not one and the same as the existing Lotte World, nor is it an extension of it. While the latter is located in Seoul, the upcoming new Lotte’s Magic Forest will be over 3 hours away in Busan - and a whopping 4 times as large.
The theme park is currently under construction, but artist’s impressions have already been released.
You have good reason to get excited, because the place will take after an enchanting forest kingdom - as its name suggests - with 6 European-style nature-inspired zones.
Incidentally, this will be Asia’s first-ever European-themed amusement park, so you can expect grand castles, fountain plazas, and neatly manicured plants that look straight out of a royal courtyard.
Specific details aren’t out yet, but you can look forward to rides like roller coaster, mascot performances, and a magical talking tree.
From the looks of it, there will probably also be carnival games where you can try winning prizes like plushies.
You’ll want to stay till night falls, as that’s when the park will be lit aglow, bringing a whole new charm that's different from what you'll experience in the daytime.
Just imagine strolling hand in hand with your partner under the twinkling lights after a day of excitement - how romantic! Perhaps there will be a fireworks show too?
Lotte’s Magic Forest looks set to be a strong contender in the theme park scene and we can’t wait for a first look of the actual thing. Disneyland might have to watch out!
