We previously wrote an article on how to make your own fruit sandos - Japanese dessert sandwiches filled with fruits and cream. Though their components are fairy simple, these fruit sandwiches have become the latest Instagram food trend thanks to their visual attractiveness.
But if you don’t want to get your hands dirty or are too busy to DIY, visit Moe Moe Sandwich, a new Japanese cafe along Orchard Road. Currently, it is the only cafe selling fruit sandos in Singapore.
Read on to find out more about the fruit sandos at Moe Moe Sandwich in Singapore!
First featured by food site Alainlicious, Moe Moe Sandwich just opened last month at Concorde Hotel, which is an easy 5-minute walk from Somerset MRT station. Currently, their fruit sandos come in 2 variants: Strawberry Blossom and Orange Blossom.
If you haven't already noticed, the fruits in the sandwiches are arranged to look like a flower, where grapes and a kiwi slice make up the leaves and stem.
These cost $6.80 each, but are currently going at a discounted price of $5.44 on Moe Moe Sandwich's website.
Savoury sandwiches are available as well, all at 20% off for a limited period of time as part of their opening special. Some flavours you can look forward to include the Kotteri Bacon Mac Sandwich with mac and cheese as pictured above ($15.84, U.P. $19.80), and the Manpuku Steak Sandwich ($21.44, U.P. $26.80).
Check out the cute anime-style flyer below - and the promo code for $5 off online orders that can be delivered straight to your home.
