Japanese Model's Water Bottle Massage Technique To Get Slimmer Calves
Considering the sweltering weather here in Singapore, it's almost automatic for many of us to reach for short skirts, dresses and shorts. If you stay away from wearing these because of bulky, muscular or chubby calves, there's an easy way you can make them slimmer.
Japanese model Ishii Ami shares her unique method of getting slimmer calves by massaging her calves with a water bottle!
Apparently, this method makes it easier and faster to massage calves and can help promote blood circulation, relax stiff calf muscles and reduce the size of bulky calves. This easy home workout takes just five minutes. If you usually spend all day sitting down or wear high heels often, this is perfect for you!

#1 Fill a water bottle with warm water

Fill a 500ml bottle with warm water at about 40°C. The warmth is not only soothing, it can also help promote blood circulation and enhance the beauty of your legs.
Do note that the water temperature should not be too high and do not use boiling water as many types of water bottles are not made to store hot water.
#2 Apply massage oil or a moisturiser

To reduce friction and prevent damage to your skin, apply massage oil or body lotion on your calves.
#3 Press on your inner calf muscles

Use the base of the water bottle to gently press on your inner calf muscles, moving from top to bottom for one minute. This helps to reduce any swelling in your calves.
By using the water bottle, the pressure can be applied more evenly than if you used your hands to do it.
#4 Roll the water bottle on the front your calves

Next, roll the water bottle on the front your calves for one minute. The water bottle makes it much faster and easier to massage your calves.
#5 Roll the bottle under your calves

Place the bottle under your calves and use your calves to roll the bottle back and forth and left and right for three minutes, focusing on the top portion of your calves.
Try to do all this without taking a break to keep your heart rate increased for the whole three minutes. This will help improve your overall health and physical fitness.
#6 Press the back of your knee

Press the top of the bottle against the back of your knee and hold for 10 seconds. Do it twice on each leg. This stimulates the lymph nodes at the back of your knee which can can help reduce swelling, remove more waste from the body and improve circulation.
