Canadian baker Sally makes the most kawaii food creations from cookies and cake rolls to tangyuan.

One of her newest creations is handmade tapioca pearls that look like little animal balls!

To create the tapioca balls, she used only two ingredients: tofu and tapioca flour. Rather than following fixed measurements, she just kept adding more tapioca flour to the mixture and kneading until it becomes a play dough-like texture and stops sticking to your hands.

For the colouring, she advised that you can use juices from fruits and vegetables or food colouring.
