This one's for those who prefer a bit of spice with their fried chicken.

What you need:
- 5 pieces of mid wings
- 1 tablespoon of chopped onions
- 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon of Chinese cooking wine
- 2 tablespoons of soya sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- Chilli powder

How to make:
1. Wash the mid wings and make light incisions on both sides of the wings to let the marinade soak the meat.
2. Pour in the onions, garlic, Chinese cooking wine, soya sauce, oyster sauce, salt and black pepper, then mix so that each wing is coated.
3. Leave it in the fridge to marinate for at least 30 minutes or 2 hours.
4. Mix corn starch and flour in a bowl in the ratio of 1:1.
5. Coat each wing with the corn starch and flour mix.
6. Deep fry them in hot oil until golden brown.
7. Sprinkle chilli powder on the chicken wings according to your preferred spicy level.

#2 Korean yangnyeom fried chicken

- 7 chicken drumsticks or mid wings
- 1 egg
- Flour
- Corn starch
- Milk
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of Korean red pepper paste
- 3 tablespoons of ketchup
- Half a tablespoon of honey
- Half a tablespoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic

How to make:
1. Wash the chicken and make light incisions on both sides to let the marinade soak the meat.
2. Add in the salt and black pepper and mix, then pour in the milk till it fully soaks the chicken.
3. Leave it in the fridge to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
4. Coat the chicken in flour followed by corn starch and deep fry until golden brown.
5. Add the red pepper paste, ketchup, honey, sugar and chopped garlic into a bowl and mix well.
6. Toss the fried chicken with the sauce till it's fully coated.

Honey and butter are a match made in heaven! This sweet and savoury fried chicken will keep you wanting more.

What you need:
- 8 chicken drumsticks or mid wings
- 180g of milk
- 2 eggs
- 60g of flour
- 35g of butter
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons of soya sauce
- 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
- 50g of corn starch
- Another 50g of flour
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of salt

How to make:
1. Wash the chicken and place it in a large bowl, then add in black pepper, salt and milk and mix well.
2. Leave it in the fridge to marinate for at least one hour.
3. Pour away the milk once it's done marinating, add two eggs and 60g of flour, then mix well.
4. In another bowl, mix the 50g of flour, 50g of corn starch, 1 teaspoon of black pepper and salt together.
5. Coat the chicken in the powder mix and deep fry the chicken until golden brown.
6. Turn up the heat and deep fry again for a crispier crust (but take note not to burn them).
7. In another pan, melt the butter, add in the chopped garlic, soya sauce and honey, then add in the fried chicken to coat it in the sauce.
