Through artistic processes, it aims to portray the Chinese people's heroism and spirit of unity while fighting against the cornonavirus.

However, netizens responded with outrage at the idea of the drama. Many questioned the timing of its release and criticised the dramatisation of such a serious issue. Some commented that if a retelling of the crisis is to be done, it would be better as a documentary as a learning lesson for the younger generation rather than as a drama which could be insensitive.
