According to CNA, a pack of four masks sealed in a bag "will be made available progressively at 89 Community Centres (CCs) and 654 Residents' Committee (RC) centres".

National Development Minister Lawrence Wong said that the distribution is a "one-time exercise" where masks from national stockpile will be released directly to the public. This move comes after surgical masks flew off the shelves and have been out of stock at various retailers.

More than 5.2 million masks will be given to over 1.3 million households, according to The Straits Times.
