Identify your goals and resolutions for the new year and create a concrete plan to work towards these goals and resolutions. Make sure your goals are attainable and not something too far-fetched! Create small milestones in regular intervals (such as a month or two weeks) that you want to reach and record your progress! It will make your goals and resolutions much more attainable and less painful!
#2 Use a habits tracker

Identify the necessary habits you will need to help you with your long-term goal and plans and track it! For example, if you are trying to lose weight, you can track the days when you exercised or avoided sugar. As you see more dates being marked on your journal or app, you will feel more motivated to carry on.
#3 Find a friend to do it with you

It is much easier to attain your goals if you are not doing it alone! Having a friend who will accompany you when you do activities to reach your goals makes it less of a chore and more fun. For example, if your goal is to exercise more this year, find a fitness buddy to go down to the gym with you or jog with you. You can also encourage each other on to attain your goals!
#4 Be consistent & stay motivated

Be consistent by working on your habits and checking in on your milestones. There is no point in creating a plan or a habit tracker if you don't actually use it! Keep yourself motivated by putting pictures of your goals all around you and make reminders to work on your habits! For example, if your goal for 2020 is to learn a new language, you should at least get a beginner's textbook or sign up for a class and start practicing!
Nothing comes without effort but you can make your new year's resolution work if you put your heart to it. We hope that you can attain your new year's resolutions this year!
