We’re Totally Obsessed With This Home-Based Kiosk’s Pretty Matcha & Coffee Cans
Home-based cafes are currently all the rage, thanks to their comparatively affordable menus, cosy atmospheres, and overall personalised touch. Plus, there's just something extra nice about supporting a local small biz every time you grab a cuppa. And while we've seen our fair share of homey teas and creative concoctions, Waterloo Coffee's menu might just be the most attractive one of them all!

Run by a friendly husband-and-wife team, this takeout kiosk located at Waterloo Centre offers an array of quality matcha, coffee and tea-based drinks to choose from. All of them are freshly prepared, poured into pretty transparent cans and then sealed. Each one comes topped with a delicious brownie bite, which tastes rich and just melts in your mouth.

We have to say that we totally get the hype — it's no wonder these trendy canned drinks are making waves on social media. In fact, the store is doing so well that they've managed to secure a unit on the first floor of Waterloo Centre and will be relocating there very soon.

For matcha lovers, the refreshing Iced Mango Matcha (from $9), Iced Choco Matcha (from $9) and Iced Strawberry Matcha (from $9) are easy picks to start with. We opted for the Bandung Cold Foam Matcha - 500ml (from $12.60), which was creamy, fragrant, and had a surprisingly balanced flavour.

Coffee drinkers will want to go for staples like Iced Flatwhite (from $7.50) and Iced Spanish Latte (from $8.50), or try something more adventurous, like the Iced French Mint Chocolate (from $8.50) and Iced Cinnamon Bun Mocha (from $9). Alternatively, you can also find hot coffee on the menu, with Espressos going for just $4.
