Here's How You Should Apply The Perfect Lipstick According To The Lipstick Type
There are so many lip products out in the market these days and we are definitely not complaining! However, if you have been bua-ing everything on your lip, you are probably applying it the wrong way as different lip products have different application methods for the perfect lipstick.
Scroll on to find out how you can apply the perfect lipstick according to the type of lip product!
Before you start applying your lipstick, make sure your lips are baby smooth with this method for the best effects!
Glossy Lipstick
Glossy lipsticks are easy to apply as it glides on your lips smoothly and are very moisturising - making it a saviour for girls with chapped lips. However, it is not very long-lasting and the colour fades easily.
Start from the centre of your lower lip and slowly glide your lipstick along the curves of your lower lip. Smack your lips together and draw a "X" at your cupid's bow to highlight it. For a gradient effect, apply more lipstick on the centre of your lips and blend it out using your fingers.
Matte Lipstick

Matte lipsticks are very popular now as it is long-lasting and is highly pigmented. However, it is very obvious when the colour fades off and it can be drying for the lips as well.
To apply matte lipstick, first do a swipe on the lower lips and dab on the lipstick to fill in your lips. Then, apply the lipstick on your upper lip using the same way by swiping and dabbing on the lipstick lightly. This will give you a nice gradual effect.
For full lips, do the above steps and use a lip brush to outline your lips with the lipstick. Fill in any empty spots with your lip brush for a clean and sleek look.
Lip Tint / Tint Lipstick

Lip tints are popular among Koreans for its tinting ability - which means that it dyes the lip for a long-lasting colour. However, they are hard to apply properly and remove. Besides, the tint usually turn out to become pink after a while so you should do research to find out which colour suits you best after it dries out.
To apply lip tint, start from the centre of the lips and avoid the inner lip where it is most moist. Use the applicator to spread out the colour and make sure to NOT smack your lips as it will mess up the lip tint and even worse, create a line of colour on the upper lip. Then apply the lip tint on the upper lip and use your finger to blend it out.
