After all the rainbow and unicorn craze, by the end of 2017, we were awestruck by glitter foods, glitter beer and everything glitter. It's been more than 6 months and you know, it's time to hit Singapore cafes now. If not fine, you can always DIY!
How is it done?
Mix the edible glitter with freshly brewed espresso. It will rise along when hot milk is added and lastly, top it off with foam. Snap some pictures and enjoy! With instant coffee, it certainly will work but not as pretty.

In terms of the yum factor, it tastes no different from “normal” coffee.

The only difference, which is the most important part perhaps, is that the glitter will cling to your lips. Making you look all sparkly and pretty after a sip of coffee.
Is It Safe?
Yes. In fact, you can even DIY your own edible glitter. Common ingredients include sugar, acacia (gum arabic), maltodextrin, cornstarch, and colour additives specifically approved for food use.
Where to get it?
In Singapore, you can buy edible glitter from Spotlight, Bake King, Pretty Sweet, Cake Dresser. Or through other online platforms such as Qoo10, Carousel, Alibaba, Taobao and more!

With Singapore's strictness in food and regulations, it should be safe to consume glitter coffee if you do find it somewhere! (:
