Admit it, we all woke up to a blinding light in between the cracks of two blackout curtains and it is annoying to say the least. Well, solve this problem by using one of these hangers with clips and clip both curtains together because holidays are for sleeping in!

#2 Free Phone Chargers

If you forgot to bring your phone charger, don't go running to the nearest store to get a new phone charger! Just as you are likely to leave your phone charger at home, many people leave their phone chargers in the hotel room. Ask the front desk if they have a spare charger for you because more likely than not, they do!

#3 Charge From The TV

Let's say you remembered to bring your charger but now you are travelling in a big group with everyone scrambling for the power points around. Fret no more, because the television has a few USB plugs that you can use to charge your phone. Granted that the charging is slower than from a power point, but hey, desperate times call for desperate measures.

#4 Stay Safe With A Hanger

This is especially important for girls travelling alone! You want to make sure that your door is totally safe when you are sleeping in the room. Use a hanger as seen in the photo above. However, if you are unable to find a hanger or don't know how to make it work, push a chair or table in the room to the door and stack your luggage on top of it.

#5 Use Another Card To Keep The Power On

It is a little annoying when you leave the hotel room and the minute you take your card out, everything shuts down. If you are looking to charge some stuff when you leave the room for a short while, replace your hotel card with any card that fits in the slot and head on out!

#6 Make A Mini Humidifier With A Wet Towel

Most hotel rooms have a central air conditioning that you are unable to turn off. If you are one who hates sleeping in air-conditioned rooms because of the dry air, wet one of the towels they have in the bathroom and place it next to your bed. You won't wake up with a sore throat anymore!

#7 Bring A HDMI Cable

Hotels are notorious for having terrible reception and boring TV content. Why not bring a HDMI cable that you can connect your laptop or phone so you can Netflix and chill to your favourite movie or drama? Remember to dabao some local delicacies and you can chill in the room for the night!

Make your holiday one with great memories with these hotel travel hacks to make your stay comfier and safer.
