A MUJI Hotel Will Soon Open Up In Japan And It Will Be Home To Its Global Flagship Store

MUJI, a Japanese retail company that can be easily distinguished by its minimalistic design will soon add another MUJI Hotel to its list. Set to open on 4 April 2019 in Ginza, Japan, this hotel will be its global flagship store.

MUJI describes its hotels as one that is here to help provide travellers with an alternative accommodation that is affordable and reasonable. It is a place where travellers can relax their body and minds and their interiors are living proof. Check out the rooms!

Travellers staying at the new global flagship store in Ginza, Japan can expect a couple of facilities. On the sixth floor, there is ATELIER MUJI GINZA, a multi-purpose space where it will be home to two galleries exhibiting various themes related to design and craftsmanship. There is also a cafe where travellers can enjoy a cuppa, sake and other beverages.

While you are there, look out for the library that is also decked out with books on art and design as well as a lounge where talks and workshops will be held.

MUJI has always been an advocate for recycling and has avoided waste in production and packaging through its no-go or "brandless" policy.

At this global flagship store in Ginza, MUJI aims to get visitors to ponder deeper into the food production cycle by expanding its food products and services.

On its first floor, fresh fruits and vegetables shipped directly from farms in the outskirts of Tokyo will be sold. Expect to be greeted by a wide range of tea leaves and spices too!
