5 Realistic New Year Resolutions To Make In 2019
Everyone makes new years resolutions, but often they fall short because they set unrealistic goals. This year set your sights reasonably and reap the benefits of your hard work! Here are a few suggestions to get you started.
1. Save More Money
Everybody tells themselves that they want to save money, but never come up with a plan to do so. You don't need a full-blown retirement plan or debt-free living just to put away a few dollars for rainy days. Try something simple. Something as easy as putting away five dollars every time you buy a coffee can help you build up an emergency fund, and future you will definitely appreciate it. You're welcome.
2. Be More Involved In Community
Do you know who your neighbours are? How about upcoming community event? There's a whole world of activities going on around you, just waiting for you to dive in and join them. Getting involved with your community is a great way to meet new people and foster a real sense of camaraderie with people in your life.
3. Exercise
Exercise is one thing everybody wants to see the benefits of, but nobody wants to actually do it. If you feel the same way, don't worry you're definitely not alone! The best way to start is to do just that, start. Fussing over what workout to do or what diet to follow will do nothing but give you an excuse to not even bother. Instead, throw on some shorts, put in your earbuds, and go for a quick jog. do that four to five times a week for three or four weeks, and once you've got that habit made you can start worrying about the rest.
4. Spiritual Wellness
In this modern age, it's easy to forget some of the things that are truly important in life. Being stable emotionally and healthy spiritually is just as important as being physically fit or having a lot of money. Make this year the year you commit yourself to spiritual commitments more regularly.
Religious or not, take time out of your day to appreciate what you have and connect with those you love because they are what is most important.
5. Revaluating How You Spend Time & Money
Is your life headed down the path that you want it to? Where does your money really go to? These are questions that are easy to forget or ignore in our fast-paced day to day lifestyle. For this new upcoming year make an effort to keep your goals in mind and be more considerate of what you do with your money and even more so your time, because your time is both priceless and fleeting.
2019 is gonna be a great GREAT year!
