Bandai Is Bringing Back Tamagotchi Connection Virtual Pets For Its 20th Anniversary

Tamagotchi lovers, Bandai is bringing back our favourite OG Tamagotchi Connection for its 20th Anniversary! To refresh your memory, the digital toy was initially launched in 2004. During that time, everyone was obsessed with it!

The 2024 Tamagotchi Connection will be available in six colours, just like the original. The six colours include Ice Cream, Bubbles, Rainbow Sky, Clear Retro, Blue, and Pink Graffiti.

The Tamagotchi Connection also includes a ball chain, so you can easily attach it to your backpack or other items to carry it around for easy accessible. Now you have no excuse to let your Tamagotchi stay sad and hungry!

Relive the classic fun of Tamagotchi Connection. Take care of your Tamagotchi by playing games, feeding it, and nursing it back to health when it’s sick! Your care will also shape how your Tamagotchi grows so every Tamagotchi is different! You can also play games to earn Gotchi Points and collect over 150 different items to keep your Tamagotchi happy!

Tamagotchi Connection was the first to introduce a 'multiplayer' feature, making it special. With its infrared port, two Tamagotchis could connect, allowing their characters to exchange gifts, play games, fall in love, and even have babies! This version also added a training feature beyond the usual discipline option from earlier models.

While multiplayer is a fun option, you don't need another person to enjoy the game. This version still lets your virtual pet find a partner and have a new baby character all on its own.

In Tamagotchi Connection, you'll find all your old favourites like Mametchi, Kuchipatchi, and Memetchi, plus some other classic characters like Young Mimitchi and Ichigotchi. With over 50 characters to care for, the fun never ends!
