Snack Box Is A New Snack Store In Singapore That Offers Guilt-Free Snacks Like Freeze-Dried Fruits

Don't get us wrong, classically sinful snacks will always have a place in the pantry. That said, healthier snacks give us a particular kind of free rein to indulge in an unbridled binge, knowing there's a lot less damage done. Cue Snack Box, a new stack store chain in Singapore that offers guilt-free snacks like freeze-fried fruits. The brand just two outlets, at 313@Somerset and Jewel Changi, that opened their doors three months ago.

Snack Box sources its ingredients internationally and processes them in China before shipping the packed snacks to stores.

The store shelves have stacks on stacks of transparent boxes filled with colourful snacks made of fruits, nuts and seeds. While the snack labels don't have with nutrition facts or an ingredient list, one could assume that the snacks are lower in fat, sodium and calories than the typical potato chips and such.

Fans of freeze-dried fruits can get their fill of a large assortment at Snack Box. There's everything from Freeze-Dried Strawberry Crisps ($8), a universal crowd-pleaser, to more unique offerings like Freeze-Dried Dragon Fruit ($8).

Prefer candied fruit? Go for the Iced Sugar Kumquats ($8), Chocolate Figs ($9) or White Chocolate Citrus Slices ($9).

Snacks of the nut variety include Almond Crisps ($8) and Salted Almond ($10), while the vegetable range hass Okra Crisps ($7), Mixed Vegetable Crisps ($8) and more.

There are also other snacks like Stuffed Nori ($7) and Grilled Corn ($6).

For those less acquainted with guilt-free snacks, Snack Box's offerings can seem a tad exotic, so it's nice that the store provides free snack samples so you can try them out before committing to a full box.
