One of the most eagerly awaited K-dramas of 2024, Queen of Tears, features a stellar cast including Kim Soo-hyun, Kim Ji-won, Park Sung-hoon, Kwak Dong-yeon, and Lee Joobeen. The story revolves around Hong Hae-in, heir to a major department store empire, and Baek Hyeon-u, whose family dominates the supermarket industry. Hitoshi Iwaaki's manga Parasyte, which was previously adapted into a 2015 anime series and two live-action Japanese movies, is now getting a Korean adaptation. Director Yeong Sang-ho, known for his work on JUNG_E and Hellbound, is set to direct this series titled Parasyte: The Grey. This story tells of parasites from space invading Earth, seeking to control humans for power. Jung Soo-in becomes infected with one of these parasites, leading to an unusual coexistence as it struggles to dominate her brain. The cast of Parasyte: The Grey features Jeon So-nee, Koo Kyo-hwan, Lee Jung-hyun, Kwon Hae-hyo, and Kim In-kwon. With its new approach, the upcoming Korean series promises to be one of the most exciting manga adaptations of all time.

Great news for Sweet Home fans! After a three-year wait since season 2, season 3 is finally on its way to Netflix. While it shares the same hospital setting as its predecessor, Resident Playbook will introduce a fresh set of characters: OB-GYN residents at the Jongno Yulje Medical Center. The series features Go Youn-jung, Shin Si-a, Kang You-seok, Han Ye-ji, and Jung Jun-won. Whether familiar faces from Hospital Playlist will make appearances in the new series remains uncertain.
