What To Expect From Bridgerton Season 3

At the ending of Bridgerton Season 2, Penelope is heartbroken when she overhears Colin (Luke Newton) telling a group of bachelors that he would never court her. Her Lady Whistledown alter ego also caused a major fallout with her best friend Eloise (Claudia Jessie). However, Coughlan reassured viewers that Penelope is prepared for an exciting and scandalous new season in Season 3.

As the official log line reads, Penelope has finally let go of her long-standing crush on Colin. Now, she's determined to find a husband who will allow her the independence to maintain her double life as Lady Whistledown, far from the influence of her mother and sisters. However, Penelope's attempts on the marriage market end in failure.

Meanwhile, Colin returns from his summer travels with a newfound confidence. However, he's surprised to discover that Penelope, the one person who always accepted him for who he was, is now giving him the cold shoulder. Desperate to regain her friendship, Colin offers to help Penelope build her confidence to find a suitable husband this season. But as his mentoring starts turning into something unexpected, Colin finds himself grappling with whether his feelings for Penelope are truly platonic.
