The lead actress of Marry My Husband, Park Min-young takes it to a whole new level by undergoing an extreme weight transformation, bringing her weight down to 37kg to portray the fragility of her character, Kang Ji-won. Park didn’t just act her role; she lived it. She also revamps her look entirely, sporting a chic bob.

This weight transformation is a proof of Park's commitment to her work and her desire to immerse herself fully in the roles she takes on. She worked closely with nutritionists and trainers to achieve her dramatic weight loss, which was necessary to portray the vulnerability of her character. It is not easy to undergo such drastic changes, both physically and emotionally, but her dedication shines through as she strives to deliver an authentic portrayal of Ji-won. Her commitment also serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about cancer and the emotional and physical struggles that patients face on a daily basis.

Marry My Husband revolves around Ji-won and her troubled marriage to her selfish husband, Park Min-hwan (Lee Yi-kyung). She soon learns about her terminal illness and discovers Min-hwan has been having an affair with her best friend, Jung Soo-min (Song Ha-yoon). Following a fight, Ji-won's life takes an unexpected turn as she awakens to find herself a decade in the past. To her surprise, she is still in a relationship with Min-hwan, despite the fatal encounter that initially took her life at his hands. Determined to change her fate, she sets him up with Soo-min. At the same time, it also gives her a shot at love with her colleague, Yoo Ji-hyuk (Na In-woo), who has feelings for her.
