Are you a wind, fire, or water type? Or perhaps you're something otherworldly, like a poison or ghost. No, we're not talking about Pokémon — these are character types from the 'Innate Personality Traits' test, a new online personality quiz that's been going viral lately.

Created by the Taiwan Design Expo, the quiz is rather unusual as it takes you on a journey, literally! Don't expect generic probes like 'what do you do in a stressful situation?' or 'does teamwork sound like a chore to you?' because those are so last season. Instead, over the course of 12 questions you will venture across unfamiliar territory, meet unique characters, and imagine yourself in humorous (and rather chaotic) situations.

What's extra impressive are the little animations accompanying each question, like this one of a particularly fat and unhappy bird, or that seal in a hot spring. BRB crying, they're just so cute!

At the end, you get your result in the form of a chart that specifies your innate personality type, catchphrases and traits! You'll also be provided with at least two compatible types, and two that may not fit your personality too well.

There are 16 possible results for the test, ranging from the sweet and cuddly grass and light types to the independent, strong-minded and not-so-cuddly ice and electric types. While some netizens have their suspicions that the test results may have some correlation with the 16 Myers-Briggs (MBTI) personality types, there is currently very little to support that stance. It's an intriguing thought, nevertheless.
