As anybody who frequents food fairs can attest to, grabbing a giant bucket (or in this case, bag) of Thai iced tea is an absolute must. At Paper Bag Thai Tea, you can get your pick of classic Thai Milk Tea, Green Milk Tea, or Thai Bandung served in an actual paper bag (1000ml for $5), the authentic Thai way. Those who prefer a regular cup (360ml for $2) or want to go for a bucket (700ml for $4, 1000ml for $5) can also do so.

Especially thirsty customers can also get refills for their buckets (700ml for $3, 1000ml for $2), while those who want to have an iconic Mango Sticky Rice ($3) to go with their drinks can also grab them there!

Here you can find the Award Winning Salted Egg Crab, Black Pepper Crab, and Chili Crab (Half Crab for $10, Whole Crab for $18) at discounted prices.

Don't want to get your hands dirty while eating crab? There are also plenty of scrumptious snacks like Prawn Paste Chicken (3 pcs for $3, 6 pcs for $5), Handmade Prawn Roll (3 pcs for $3, 6 pcs for $5) and Crispy Fried Mantou Buns served with free chili crab sauce (5pcs for $3). We especially love the budget-friendly Authentic Thai Crab Meat Shark Fin (1 bowl for $2, 2 bowls for $3), which tastes flavourful and not too heavy.

Stinky Durian Dessert's Mao Shan Wang Swiss Roll (Quarter Roll for $6.90, Whole Roll for $27, 2 Rolls for $50) may seem a little pricey for your average teatime treat, but this one is a true flavour bomb that's made with real, 100% Mao Shan Wang Durian. For more creamy durian goodness, you can pick up a scoop or two of Mao Shan Wang Ice Cream  (1 Cup for $6.90, 5 Cups for $32) or even take home an entire pint (1 Pint for $29, 2 Pints for $55) to spread the joy!

#5: Royal British Cookies

Speaking of good deals, get a bang for your buck over at Royal British Cookies where you'll find snacks galore at largely discounted prices. Their bestselling Royal Premium Butter Cookies ($17.90) are made with pure butter and promise a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture, while those who prefer to mix and match can pick between Butter Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, McOaty Cookies, Coconut Cookies and more (1 for $7.90, 3 for $19.90). We also saw Japanese and Thai cookies when we visited, which makes this stall even more worthy of a visit!

#6: Haha Egg

Its unique name aside, Haha Egg will get you chuckling with how adorable their egg-shaped stuffed waffles are — every order is served in an egg carton and all of them have cute smiley faces printed on!

Each carton of Egg Waffles (4 pcs for $6/$8) comes with a pick of 2 flavours: you can choose between classic fillings like Kaya and Red Bean or premium ones like Mochi, Lotus Biscoff and even Mentaiko! We picked the Nutella and Mao Shan Wang Durian fillings and really enjoyed how the outside was light and fluffy, while the filling inside was creamy and generous.

#7: Hong Trang Nguyen Vietnam Mini Mart

If you're a sucker for Vietnamese flavours, look no further than Hong Trang Nguyen Vietnam Mini Mart for your next dose of affordable street food and snacks. The spacious stall is split into two parts: a mini-mart area which houses everything from Vietnamese coffee sachets to instant noodles, and a small kitchen area where you can pick up a selection of ready-to-eat foods.

The Bánh Mì ($7) is a great pick for those who want something more filling, but you can also opt for lighter items like the Net Seafood Spring Roll (4 pcs for $4) or a freshly made glass of Iced Coffee with Condensed Milk ($4).
