What better way to pick up on the art form or further your knowledge than to learn the ways of the masters? For the first time ever, renowned ceramists Greg Daly (Victoria, Australia), Iskandar Jalil (Singapore), Janet Deboos (NSW, Australia), Zhang Liming (Jingdezhen, China) and Somluk Pantiboon (Thailand) will be gathering alongside Mud Rock Ceramics in Singapore to impart their wisdom in bite-sized pieces.
Attendees can pick and choose the classes they wish to attend, from learning the basics of glaze to how you can make your very own wood kiln — yes, really!

Those who have a preference for history and prefer to be on their feet while learning about pottery should not miss the exclusive guided tours available during Clay Camp! Tang Shipwreck @ The ACM offers the opportunity to listen as ceramic masters like Greg Daly, Janet DeBoos, Zhang Liming, and the Mud Rock team share their thoughts on the The Tang Shipwreck Collection. What's more, each tour ticket includes a breakfast picnic on the Lawn at Asian Civilisations Museum!
There are also Dragon Kiln tours available led by ceramic master Michelle Lim, who will share stories on the importance of the structure and her perspective after helping to save it from demolition.
Campfire Finale

The fire in the kiln isn't the only thing that's smoking hot at this festival — Clay Camp will have a real-life campfire at the Dragon Kilns! Attendees will get to participate in guided tours of the kiln site, watch live firing sessions and pottery demos, shop at the pottery market and party it up with live music by music sets from Weish, Kiat, Cherry Chan and Intriguant from music label SYNDICATE.
Just like at a real camp, you'll have to bring your own camping chairs and picnic mats, but fret not, because there will be food options like beer, satay and even DIY smores available onsite.
