There's A Pop-Up "Photo Booth" In Singapore With Korean-Style Caricatures In Photo Strip Form
Everyone loves photo booths. This nostalgic 2000s activity is back and ever-present in Singapore. If you've made the rounds and collected a bunch different photo strips, perhaps it's time to add something a little different to your collection! Cue Jelly Podtraits by illustrator Jelly Caricature.
Made to look like a photo booth, this pod actually houses the illustrator, who will be hand-drawing the customers and "printing" out the photo strips.

In other ways, it works just like a photo booth! Simply insert the coin and strike some different poses. A few minutes later, the illustration (cleverly named a Podtrait) will emerge from the booth.

The illustrations are designed to look like photo strips, with three "photos" showing different portraits drawn in Jelly Caricature's signature Korean-style aesthetic.

The Podtraits are also reasonably priced at $10 per strip for one face and $15 per strip for two faces.
The Jelly Podtraits booth will be located at The Hammock Market pop-up in Aperia mall on 8 July 2023.
