Running out of places to hit up with your friends on the weekends? CO PLAY is the cool new kid in town that just opened at Plaza Singapura. This creative hub is part-gallery, part-artist village, part collector’s market and all decked out in local pop art! There are also plenty of things for art enthusiasts, toy collectors and casual shoppers to see and do.

Ever wanted to have a chat with your favourite artist, or simply watch one work on their projects live? It's now possible when you visit CO PLAY as a rotating roster of local artists is being hosted there. Currently, the Artist Village is occupied by homegrown talents like Eric Chew (@sapientoystudio), Jeremy Tanavit (@Tanavit23), Lester Lim (@lesdoublewood), Rex Lee (@my_spacecats), Toby Tan (@tobyato) and Yang (@yang__ovo). Visitors can personally interact with the artists-in-residence when visiting their individual booths.

Some of these artists even have entire art galleries up for display, like the awesome detailed ink illustration pieces by Rex Lee, which depict his love for cats and texture!

Arranged in the style of a flea market, the Collectors’ Playground offers a wide range of pre-loved and mint vintage toys, designer figurines, and other rare collectibles. Look out for special deals unique to certain stalls, since the bazaar acts as a communal space where individual art and toy collectors can hawk their wares. It opens every Saturday from 4pm to 8pm.

Art Jamming

Those who enjoy art jamming will certainly want to check this out: with a minimum spend of $50 at CO PLAY, shoppers may participate in art workshops like acrylic painting or ceramic painting to let their creative juices flow. The workshop sessions are led by artists Rex Lee, Angelina Lim and Emily Moh.

Gather your girlfriends for a quick photoshoot at CO PLAY Supermarket, a pink and white supermarket-themed photo spot that has a pink shopping cart you can actually push around and use as a prop! We also love the art toys displayed on the supermarket shelves that'll infuse your pictures with an extra pop-art vibe.

You can visit CO PLAY at Plaza Singapura #03-67 to #03-69, 68 Orchard Rd, Singapore 238839.
