Has severe RBF but is fairly jolly and carefree on the inside. Degree of life satisfaction is heavily influenced by food.

The giant ball-shaped lanterns at the front lawn of Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (SYSNMH) have retired and taking their place is a new installation for Chinese New Year that's just as colossal and adorable.

From 29 December 2022 to 19 February 2023, the Bunny-ful Blessings installation will be on show at the Memorial Hall.

It features two Bit Bit Forest characters by Hong Kong artist Chan Siu Kau, but with a CNY twist! The cute bunny characters are in daruma doll form and decorated with the words 幸 (xìng) meaning blessing, fortune and luck, and 福 (fú) meaning happiness.

The installation will be open to the public from 10am to 7pm daily except for Mondays.

To celebrate the new year, SYSNMH will also be offering complimentary activities on 22 January including a Lion & Dragon Dance performance from 10 to 11am and God of Fortune visit from 10am to 12pm. While admission to the Memorial Hall is free for Singapore citizens and PRs, foreign residents and tourists will enjoy free entry too on 22 & 24 January.

Families with kids can look forward to workshops like the Tangyuan Workshop ($38 per parent-child pair) as well as free activities like colouring, origami folding and storytelling sessions.
