As usual, it's Mao Shan Wang Mooncake ($88/box of four) is the best seller. But the prettiest thing we ever saw was this- the Blue Pea Flower Snow Skin With White Lotus Seed Paste  ($64/box of four). This baby is streaked with the most striking blue ever seen. Its' gorgeous colour is derived from none other than the blue pea flower and is infused with delicate flower petals. The combination is stunning and attractive. Trust us, this is one mooncake you'll wanna have on Instagram.

The Earl Grey with Strawberry Chocolate is not only eye-candy, but tastes amazing too! Earl grey tea leave are infused into the lotus paste and gives this mooncake a delicate yet aromatic flavour.

We love the White Lotus Paste with Mandarin Peel Chocolate Truffle. Well, because it's chocolate truffle right? What's there not to love? The tart, citrusy orange cuts nicely through the sweetness too, so the mooncake has a balanced taste-not too cloying and perfectly palatable.

3. Sweetspot, Marina Bay Sands Hotel

We always dig the snow skin mooncakes ($78/box of eight), because they are soft and delightfully cold! Great for Singapore's hot weather.

Their newest flavour is unique and special. The Strawberry Yogurt Champagne Snowskin Mooncake with Green Bean Paste, looks attractive with its' sweet, baby-pink skin but the real attraction is the champagne truffle within the mooncake, which bursts in the mouth. The addition of fizz candy also gives this mooncake an extra kick!

The Passion Mango Yogurt and Japanese Sweet Potato with Red Beans are new,  creative additions to the 2018 collection too.

The new flavour for 2018 is the Acai Berry Truffle, mooncake infused with sweet blackcurrant liqueur and acai berry, an interesting combination.

It's the first we've heard of! Despite the 'strangeness' of this pairing, this mooncake proves that being innovative pays off, as many people are already raving about this new addition!

The Teh Tarik and Chocolate Truffle Mooncake, is their own rendition of the all time favourite local drink.

The mooncake was rich and fragrant and tasted exactly like 'Teh Tarik'! The taste was authentic and wholesome, and not simply some artificial tasting rip-off

Other exciting flavours include the Green Apple, Basil and Trigona Honey Truffle mooncake! The mooncake has a sweet and peppery taste, combined with the tanginess of green apple.

We love their snowskin mooncakes for how pretty they look in those pastel colours and how great they taste. The Mango Yoghurt Snowskin Mooncakes with Lime Margarita Truffle ($68 nett) promises an exciting explosion of flavours after just one bite!

The mooncake comes with a tangy, lime margarita truffle nestled in a bed of luscious, homemade mango yoghurt and is a completely decadent and sensory treat!

6. Cherry Garden, Mandarin Oriental Singapore

Before you even try the mooncakes, the first thing that catches the eye is the drop dead gorgeous box, which is fashioned like a traditional Chinese cabinet with a bright teal exterior.

We love the delicate details like the cabinet knobs, that make this box look so realistic. (If not for the mooncakes, you could just get this, so you can keep the box and use it for your trinkets!)

We ar digging the new flavour, which is the Sea Salt Caramel With Taro And Shredded Coconut. (because you just can't go wrong with sea salt caramel right?)

The Mango Puree One has a gorgeous white skin with pastels colours swirled all over and is pure joy to the eyes!

It's a challenge to decide which is the best out of all these six choices because all these mooncakes are equally pretty and unique in their own right!

Say Sayonara to that diet and try them all! Let us know which one you dig!
