Soothing HDB In Punggol Has Creatively Concealed Bedroom & Dining Table That Transforms Into Pool Table
A home is a place to relax in and this HDB flat in Punggol couldn’t be any more of a sanctuary. With soothing colours and unique features such as a cleverly concealed bedroom entrance and unconventional TV console position, this neutral-toned abode also has a dining table that transforms into a pool table.

Designed by a Delia from popular Singapore-based interior design firm LemonFridge Studio, this airy-looking HDB flat in Punggol is made even more spacious-looking thanks to its uniformly light colour palette, with wooden vinyl flooring and light wood furniture to match.

What’s special about the living room is the unorthodox placement of the TV console in the middle of the apartment as opposed to being along a wall in the corner. This makes for a roomier zone to binge-watch one’s favourite shows, while an archway leading to the dining area breaks the monotony of all the walls and ceiling beams.

The kitchen is open concept, seamlessly connected to the dining and living rooms. Appliances in mint green and teal add a fresh pop of colour to the otherwise minimalist setup, complementing the green of the potted plants dotted around.

Post-dinner entertainment is made easy here; While the dining table might look like any regular one at first glance, it was specially designed to transform into a pool table with the removal of the top panel.

Interestingly, what looks to be a study table or workstation is also positioned here. Though this might not be the most conducive for everyone, it creates a great transition from work to play and vice versa, perfect for work-from-home comfort. Topping that off is a balcony with bar stools, allowing one to take a quick breath of fresh air when things get stressful.

And now, on to the bedroom…wait, what bedroom? Well, it’s there alright, but cleverly concealed behind a sliding screen door that blends in with the rest of the living room.

Pull it aside and voila, you’ll be met with a feature wall in a pleasant, muted shade of pink, on which the bed is set against. There’s an intentional symmetry here, with both sides of the bed flanked by identical rattan lamps and bedside tables.
