McDonald’s Singapore Has 8 New Pokémon Happy Meal Items That Are Actually Usable And Not Just Toys
McDonald’s is always keeping us on our toes with innovative menu items like the Laksa Burger and Korean-style Jjang! Jjang! Burger, but another thing we often look forward to is their new Happy Meal toys. And we probably speak for both children and adults when we say that, ‘cause some of the items are simply too cute to resist!
Now here’s something for the Pokémon fans that’s not just cute, but also usable; Previously only available in Japan, a new Pikachu-themed range of 8 collectibles has just been released at McDonald’s Singapore, and will be gradually rolled out over the course of a month.

The 8 items in this McDonald’s Pokémon Happy Meal collection follow a camping theme, and most of the items appear to be usable rather than purely decorative. These include a binoculars, a Pikachu compass which doubles up as a bangle, a camping cup, and even portable cutlery that you can dismantle for easy storage while on-the-go. The Poké Ball-shaped item has a slide-out magnifying lens, while the Pokémon Collection Kit can be used to store small snacks like granola bites or sweets.

The Pokémon Camping Wagon can also be used to small tiny bits and bobs like paperclips and push pins. Perhaps the only item that doesn’t have any sort of practical purpose is the Pokémon Spinning Flyer, which we’d say is like a levelled-up version of the fidget spinner.
