2 Family-Friendly Carnivals @ Our Tampines Hub Ft. Swing Carousel, Bouncy Castles & Game Booths
We’ve missed the bustling carnivals of pre-pandemic times, such as the sprawling Prudential Marina Bay Carnival with its thrilling rides and food markets.
If you feel the same, why not satiate your thirst by heading to Our Tampines Hub for not just one, but two family-friendly carnivals? Just in time for the June holidays, two carnivals are now running concurrently at the hub’s Town Square and Festival Plaza, until June 12 and July 3, respectively.

Normally a soccer field, the Town Square has been transformed into a buzzing carnival organised by Tampines 3065. Entry is free of charge for three bouncy castles and slides, although you can expect to queue. Bring your little ones and watch them explore the obstacle course before zooming down a two-storey high slide.

Photo opportunities are plenty thanks to giant space-themed inflatables such as an alien, a red chicken dressed in a space suit, and even a colourful purple monster. If you’ve been catching up on Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 4, you might just find some of them rather familiar-looking.

Although most of the rides, such as bumper boats and bumper cars, are more suitable for kids, adults can have a ball of time on the “Robotic Ride.” Like its name suggests, this ride allows you to control and move a life-sized robot a la Transformers. Rides are priced from S$20 for 22 credits, with each ride going for about eight credits each.

Those who prefer staying in the shade can check out the second carnival at the Festive Plaza within Our Tampines Hub. You’ll find a swing carousel near the entrance, where you can whizz through the air on; as well as a mini viking ride perfect for the little ones.
After which, make a beeline for the game booths where you can challenge your luck and skills with games like Bull’s Eye and the Bingo-like Thunder Bolt. Rides are priced from S$20 for 22 credits, with each ride going for about six credits each and each carnival game from five credits each.
