Everyone loves a hearty hotpot, and with Chinese New Year around the corner, steamboat gatherings are going to be even more popular than before. While you’re at it, you might as well take it one step further, and don matching hotpot-themed tees for your next reunion dinner.
Uniqlo Singapore has teamed up with Beauty In The Pot to launch a series of new hotpot-inspired t-shirts for all who can’t get enough of those soupy feasts. They’ll give you the perfect way to show your solidarity as part of the same family clan, or the same squad of foodie buddies - all while making a statement.

The Uniqlo x Beauty In The Pot: Kawaii Friends hotpot t-shirts have been specially launched in time for Chinese New Year, and are available for purchase at the Orchard Central outlet.
There are 4 t-shirt designs to choose from. Although the illustrations are rather cute, they’re not juvenile in nature and are suitable for both women and men.
As Uniqlo is a Japanese brand, it is unsurprising that these hotpot tees come with Japanese elements. For example, the Onsen tee shows a cube of tofu relaxing in hotpot broth, as though it is soaking in a hot spring.
Then there’s Fujisan, featuring Beauty in the Pot’s Ebiko Prawn Paste dish masquerading as Mount Fuji.
The Futon t-shirt shows beancurd skin rolls stacked upon each other like a rolled-up Japanese futon mattress.
Koinobori has a pair of chopsticks gripping onto some fish, illustrated to look like the eponymous koi flags, also known as “carp streamers”. These are commonly hung up in Japan to celebrate the fifth day of the lunar calendar.
You’ll want to make sure you’re wearing one of these when dining at Beauty in the Pot, for those who do will get to enjoy 50% off the exclusive Ebiko Wasabi Prawn Paste (U.P. $10.40) - that’s over $10 saved.
Paradise Group members get to purchase these hotpot tees at 10% off if they present the Paradise Group app while paying at the cashier.
Each adults’ t-shirt costs $29.90 while the kids’ version costs $24.90. Get these for the whole family and wear them to your relatives’ houses for reunion meals or bai nian sessions!
