Learn This Monolid Cut-Crease Technique In 5 Minutes
When you think of sexy single-eyelid makeup, don't just think of smokey eyes or assume you need double eyelid stickers. They are great but when you close your eyes, they can be a tad too obvious and even embarrassing. Instead of trying to create a fake eyelid, spend the time mastering this cut-crease makeup technique.

You will need
- A Brown Eyeshadow
- An Eyeshadow Brush
- A Blending Brush
- An Eyeliner
- A Flat Brush
- A Concealer
- A White Eyeshadow/ Other Shimmers

Using an eyeshadow brush, apply brown eyeshadow on your upper eyelid and blend it well. Blending brush will help make it better but it’s optional for beginners.

It should look something like this. Layer it patiently from light to achieve this dark brown shade. Dont go in strong!
Youtuber Brandi.x0 used a gel eyeliner next for the wing. For beginners, we strongly recommend you to try pencil or marker tip eyeliner as it’s easier to manage.

Here's the magic. Cut crease means to define your crease by 'cutting' across your lid with contrasting eyeshadow colours, with minimal or no blending. In this tutorial, she used a concealer to 'cut-crease' starting from the tip of the eye to the tail.

Super easy eh..? The hardest part is honestly drawing an on-point eyeliner, and not ‘cutting crease’.

For the shimmer, you could use a glittery eyeshadow. It also acts as a loose powder to set your eye makeup.

She used a dark brown shadow to blend out the eyeliner mildly.
To finish it off, she used NYX double stacked mascara!
