If you have been binge-watching on K-dramas during the circuit breaker season, or you are simply a K-drama enthusiast fan, you would have known that the Baeksang Arts Awards dubbed as the "Oscars of Korea" will be holding its 2020 ceremony online on June 5 at Kintex in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province.

However, this time, the ceremony will proceed without an audience and will be streamed live on the Korean cable channel JTBC due to COVID-19.

We have compiled a list of K-dramas to watch according to the Baeksang Arts Awards nominees.

Baek Seung-Soo (Namgung Min) is the newly appointed general manager of a professional baseball team "Dreams". The team ranks bottom of the league every single time. Lee Se-Young (Park Eun-Bin) is the operations manager of the team. She has so much love and passion for "Dreams" and she never gives up on the team despite the challenges that she and the team faced.

#3 Kingdom 2

It's based on the webcomic series by Kim Eun-hee and drawn by Yang Kyung-il called The Kingdom of the Gods, and revolves around Korea's historical Joseon period, a few years after the Japanese invasion of the nation, while showing a few people trying and failing to stop a zombie plague.

#4 Hyena

Yoon Hee-Jae (Joo Ji Hoon) and Jung Geum-Ja (Kim Hye Soo) are lawyers who work for the top one percent in society. Jung Geum-Ja is a lawyer, who is materialistic and after money only. She wins her cases using any means that she deems right. Yoon Hee-Jae is an elite lawyer, who is smart and confident at his job. The drama goes on to reveal the fierce competition between both casts who use their knowledge of the law to pursue their ambitions for money.

#5 Crash Landing On You

Crashing Landing On You goes about a paragliding mishap that drops a South Korean heiress in North Korea and into the life of an army officer, who helps her hide and take care of her while she is in North Korea. The drama goes on about how she eventually managed to return to South Korea and the many challenges and mishaps that she faced.

Seems like it is a tough fight for the best K-drama this year.
