If you're too busy or lazy to spend a lot of time and effort on preparing a meal, we've found a quick and easy katsudon recipe that only needs a microwave by a popular chain restaurant in Japan.

Fuji Soba restaurant in Japan is well known for their soba as well as their katsudon. They've recently shared a katsudon recipe that's incredibly easy and quick to make, you don't even need to use a pan or stove!

Ingredients:

-1 tablespoon of sugar
-1/2 teaspoon of dashi granules
-20ml soy sauce
-60ml water
-Onion
-Pre-made tonkatsu (breaded fried pork cutlet)
-1 egg
-Rice

How to make:

1.Mix the sugar, dashi, soy sauce and water together in a bowl.

2.Slice onions and add in.

3.Cover the bowl with cling wrap and microwave for one minute.

4.Add the pork cutlet and a lightly beaten egg to the bowl.

5. Cover the bowl with cling wrap and microwave for two minutes.

6. Place the pork cutlet and sauce over a bowl of rice.
