Well, what if there are exercises you can do to stay healthy and keep fit without having to move an inch away from your precious bed?

Lay on your bed for the following simple exercises and we guarantee you will find exercising less torturing from now on.

#1 Leg cycles

Lay flat on your back on the bed, then slightly lift your upper body up. Lift up both legs and do the cycling motion all the while keeping your core tight. One leg should be stretched straight while the other bent at the knee when doing the cycling motion.

This exercise helps to tighten your core muscles and burn fats on the thigh. Do it for at least one minute or for as long as you can.

#2 Leg crosses

Lay flat on your back on the bed, then slightly lift your upper body up. Lift up both legs and keep them straight. Then, cross your legs with one above the other and vice versa.

This exercise helps to tighten your core muscles too and tone your legs. Do it for at least one minute or for as long as you can.

#3 Stretch and touch your ankles

Lay flat on your back on the bed, then bend your legs at the knees. Stretch your left arm in front and touch your ankles with your left hand, and do the same on the other side. You should feel a stretch and tightening sensation on your core.

Doing this exercise diligently will help to burn tummy fat and you might just end up with abs! Do it for at least one minute or for as long as you can.

#4 Pushing your body up

Lay flat on your back on the bed, then bend your legs at the knees. Keep your shoulders, head and hands on the bed, but lift your lower body up by using your feet as support. Lift up then down and continue up and down for at least one minute. You should feel a stretch on your core and thighs.

#5 Body stretch

End off your exercise routine with a good stretch that will relax your muscles. Lay flat on the bed on your front, then lift your arms and legs up as much as you can. Your body should form a curve. This stretching move stretches your core and leg muscles.
