Simple Exercises Perfect For Lazy People To Do In Their Bedrooms Before Sleeping
Exercising is perhaps the most dreaded thing for most lazy people because we don't want to or don't like to go out of our way just to work out.
If you are one of those lazy people (it's perfectly fine to admit that you are one ?) but still wish to do something simple to keep your body active and healthy, here are some exercises you can do in the comfort of your own bedroom before sleeping.
You won't have to step out of your house to head to the gym so it shouldn't be an excuse to not exercise anymore.

Lay a yoga mat on the floor before beginning.
#1 Side leg lifts

Lay on your side and prop your head up with your arm. Lift the leg that is not resting on the floor upwards as much as you can, then put it down slowly. Repeat for 25 times on each leg.
This leg lift exercise tones your hips, butt and thigh muscles as well as those muscles that are not usually active in those who sit for prolonged periods.
#2 Reverse leg lifts

Lay on your front and support your upper body with your forearms placed flat on the mat. Make sure your upper body isn't resting on the mat. Lift one leg up as much as you can and keep it straight, then put it down slowly. Repeat for 25 times on each leg.
This exercise engages the lower back muscles and strengthens it, which can help to minimise back pain.
#3 Leg lifts

Lay on your back and keep your entire body straight. Lift both legs up into a 90 degree angle while keeping your knees straight and hold that position for one minute. Your upper body should not lift from the mat when doing this. Repeat three times.
This exercise works both your upper and lower abs to increase core strength and your tummy area should feel tighter and more toned in the long run.
