These healthcare workers aren't millionaires or celebrities and yet they still contribute beyond their job scope. Don't you agree that people are what make life worth living?  We can all contribute and make a difference in someone else's life. It doesn't have to start from a celebrity or the richest man, but it starts from me and you.

Here are some heartwarming gestures by frontline healthcare workers who made us regain faith in humanity.

Read on below! (Ps. prepare the tissue box)

As the saying goes, happiness is the best medicine. COVID-19 patients are not allowed visitors once they are admitted into the hospital and have to be in isolation until they recover. The lack of human connection and interaction will surely take a toll on the patients' mental health.

The personal protective gear healthcare workers don have their faces obscured and this can intimidate the patients. Thus, some healthcare workers in the US have begun to print photos of themselves smiling to attach to their gear so that patients can feel more at ease.

What a simple yet beautiful way to encourage patients with a smile during one of their most stressful times in life.

TikTok has been back in trend, and what better way to cheer up COVID-19 patients than by getting the groove started? Healthcare workers are participating in dance challenges on social media not only to blow off some steam with the demand of rising cases, but to bring in pockets of smiles to the patients. It's indeed consoling to see such an uplifting scene during such challenging times.

#3 NYC hospital plays "Don't Stop Believing" whenever a COVID-19 patient is discharged

In a moving video released by NYC hospital, health care workers cheer on COVID-19 patients and sang to "Don't Stop Believing" whenever they are discharged from the hospital. The uplifting spirits not only cheer up the discharged patients, but brings a sense of hope to those that are still battling this virus.

Thank you to all our healthcare heroes serving on the frontline battling this unprecedented health crisis.
