The Beckham Family's EXTREME Affection Sparks Worldwide Debate: What Is Too Much?

We know that western families are way more affectionate than most Asian families. Some of us Singaporeans, instead of saying "I love you, mom," we say, "Aiya, you know one la!" We don't do the hug thing, we might give a '4-finger tap' on the shoulder. That's just our way of showing love~

We adore this picture and we know to a mom, once your baby, forever a baby. An Instagrammer commented, "I hope my boys love me the way your boys obv do." Yet, it comes with mixed feelings of, "While I think it is lovely that she is bringing her son to the ball, the photo is a tad inappropriate looking - maybe it's the poses but it looks slightly inappropriate. Am I wrong?" The question rose, where is David Beckham? Well, he is at Buckingham Palace meeting the Queen's Young People at the time of the ball. So obviously Brooklyn will go with Victoria~

Another instagrammer commented, "Since when did it become inappropriate for a mother to fix their sons tie, or to go to a ball together. This world is producing some sad sad people. Jealousy is a hideous thing"

Separately, David Beckham had to justify his kiss with his beloved 6-year-old daughter, Harper. In late 2017 last year, this picture sparked off a parental row.

In response, he said "I got criticised for kissing my daughter on the lips the other day. I kiss all my kids on the lips." Of course, there is a balancing factor to all claims, "Brooklyn, maybe not. Brooklyn's 18, he might find that a little bit strange. But I'm very affectionate with the kids. It's how I was brought up, and Victoria, and it's how we are with our children."
