How To Choose Jewellery That Suits You According To Skin Undertone
Jewellery such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings come in many different colours and shades but some of the more common ones are silver, gold and rose gold.
You may prefer one colour over the other but does it really suit you? Here's how to choose the right jewellery that will suit you according to your skin tone.
Read on to find out more!
#1 Determine your skin's undertone
Skin undertones are split into three different types - cool, neutral or warm. The first step is to determine which skin undertone you belong to.

Take a look at the veins on your wrist. If they look blueish or purplish, it means you have a cool undertone. If your veins look blue-green, it means you have a neutral undertone. Last but not the least, if your veins look greenish or olive, it means you have a warm undertone.
Remember, you and your friend may have similar complexion but that doesn't mean your skin undertones are the same!
#2 Think about how your skin reacts to the sun

To make sure you have identified the right skin undertone for yourself, think about how your skin reacts to the sunlight.
For people with a cool undertone, your skin burns under the sun but doesn't tan easily. For those with a warm undertone, your skin tans easily.
For those with a neutral undertone, it basically means you are in between both the warm and cold undertones. Some parts of your skin burns more than it tans and vice versa.
#3 Choose jewellery in the right colour

Light or white metals such as white gold, platinum and silver will look flattering on those with a cool skin undertone.
