Look Good In Your Road Trip Car Photos With These 5 Tips
As the year is coming to a close, many people are taking the chance to travel overseas. If you are one of these lucky people who will be travelling overseas, one thing you can't miss is photographs!
Although you can take photos almost everywhere, it can be difficult to take good photographs in a moving vehicle. Here are five tips on how you can take pretty photographs of yourself in a moving vehicle, perfect for girls who are going on road trips!

#1 Find your best angle

Don't choose the side with the better scenery if you know it is not your photogenic side. After all, the highlight of the picture is your face - not the scenery. Sit on the side with your most photogenic side facing the camera and you will find that you will have much more insta-worthy photos!
#2 Find the best timing

The best timing for a photoshoot in the car is when the sun is either bright but not glaring or when the sun is setting. During these periods, the lighting is soft enough to illuminate your face but not subject your face to overexposure.
#3 Candidness is key

You don't have to specifically pose for the camera! Simply look out of the window, play with your phone or hair, or just wind down the window for some natural breeze. However, you still want to take note of your angles and avoid unflattering angles such as a double chin by looking too low at your phone.
#4 Wear something bright

As most cars usually have dark interiors or interiors that have a standardised colour, you want to create contrast by wearing something brighter or different from the car interior. This is especially helpful if you want to take photos at night.
#5 Add filters to your photos!

Some post-production edits will definitely go a long way. A VSCO filter will save your photos even if they were taken in bad lighting or if you have a curated photo feed. We prefer film-like filters for a retro, chill vibe but you can always edit your photos to achieve your own desired effect!
