If you're wondering if it's worth going for, we'll give you our honest thoughts of our experience, some tips and a brief idea of what to expect without giving away too much.

The experience starts off by letting you feel like you've been transported into Seoul when you walk though the entry area that's set up to look like the streets of Seoul. Snacking on classic Korean street food and drinks helped calm our nerves a little and get us pumped up for the scares at the same time. Some of the offerings are bibimbap, deep fried cheese sticks and Korean cup noodles.

Once you've entered the ticketed area, that's when the horror begins. You'll find yourself in an apocalyptic version of Seoul with a gigantic crashed train and a few zombies stuck inside. There are plenty of photo ops with zombies so this is where you can start snapping away!

From this point onwards, you can put your phones away and get prepared for the real horror experience. Choose from the three activities available and start queueing up!

#1 Seoul station horror house

At the first horror house, you'll enter a zombie-infested Seoul train station in small groups of 4 to 6, fending off the undead and making your way to the train to get to Busan.

#2 Train horror house

The second part of the Horror House takes place on the actual Train To Busan. Just like how the movie characters had to battle their way to the front car of train, your goal is to make it all the way through the train to safety.

One tip we have is to take your time to admire the details of the set decoration and the zombie makeup and costumes instead of rushing through them. Both of the horror houses have a high production value with intricate sets carefully modelled after the film, making the experience truly immersive and spine-chilling.

We give the zombies a 10/10! They're almost indiscernible from the zombies in the Train To Busan movie in terms of their costume, makeup and acting. You'll also find staff members playing soldiers stationed at the entrance of each activity to defend the area against zombies, just like in the movie.

#3 VR game

Gamers will love this virtual reality experience where you'll take up arms and go on a zombie killing spree. This game is immersive enough to feel an adrenaline rush and a sense of panic but not too realistic as to make you freeze up in fear. Top scorers will get their names up on a board!

On a whole, Resorts World Genting's Train To Busan Experience is scary enough to satisfy horror buffs and yet not traumatising for those who get spooked easily. If you're going in a group with different scare limits and expectations, this will be just right to make everyone happy. Fans of the Train To Busan film will definitely love how immersive the experience is, making you feel like you're a character in the movie!

At just RM90 (~S$29.41) per ticket for all 3 activities plus photo opportunities, it's fairly reasonably priced for all that you get.

You can get tickets here at RM90 (~S$29.41) for regular admission and RM80 (~S$26.14) for Genting Rewards Club members.
