A First Look At Wonder Woman 2: Gal Gadot Suits Up To Fight The Cheetah

Where are our Amazonians at?! Our Princess is hitting the big screen once again.

Our favourite warrior Princess is back and so is her beau, Steve Trevor.

Filming for the Wonder Woman sequel "Wonder Woman 1984" began on 13 June and we've been seeing a few teasers from Gal Gadot as well as Patty Jenkins (the returning movie director from the first Wonder Woman film) already.

Patty Jenkins also revealed a photo of Chris Pine's Steve Trevor (incoming spoiler!), the American pilot who disappeared during World War 1. Steve is looking sharp in this teaser and we're just glad he's sorta back.

Gal Gadot also shared a photo of her return as Diana Price aka Wonder Woman and the Princess of Amazon.

Patty Jenkins previously revealed that this sequel will be set in the United States (country where most super heroes seem to be from) during the 1980s.

Also, the talented Kristen Wiig will be joining the Wonder Woman family as Cheetah, the villain whom Wonder Woman will fight against.

The Cheetah is Wonder Woman's classic foe in the DC universe. The Cheetah is actually Dr Barbara Ann Minervaa, a British archaeologist who was cursed to transform into a female cheetah who hungers for human flesh. She is sometimes portrayed as Diana's old friend who struggles against her unfortunate bloodlust.
