KFC Hong Kong Is Launching A Special Moonlight Bucket For Mooncake Festival

If you are heading to Hong Kong in August, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for KFC's special Moonlight Bucket that will be launching together with two special mooncake flavours — Spicy Chicken & Nuts and Golden Lava Custard!

Besides housing the mooncakes, the Moonlight Bucket is also meant to double as a lantern that can be carried around at night. Just what we need for Mooncake Festival!

The Moonlight Bucket features KFC's iconic founder Colonel Sanders in a space suit alongside other KFC emblems.

On the sides, two moon windows are also in place for the LED lights to shine through. Like this!

As for the mooncakes, Spicy Chicken & Nuts flavour features nuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, peaches and spicy chicken floss.

The Golden Lava Custard, on the other hand, is filled with a salted egg yolk custard.

The Moonlight Bucket will be retailing for approximately SGD 47 in KFC stores across Hong Kong from Aug 13 to Sept 10. A little pricier in our opinion but if you are an avid fan of KFC, don't miss this limited edition bucket cum lantern!
