Ex Boutique Giant 'm)phosis' Reopens & Ready To Expand Islandwide!
After 3 years hiatus, homegirl brand m)phosis reopened its FIRST OUTLET at Century Square, Tampines! It's back with a splash of colours, breaking out from the old black and white mains. Previously known for its cutting-edge designs, it was the talk of the town. It was a big player back then. Will this reopening be another milestone for them and a great addition to our shopping list?

Even before the Love Bonito and The Editor's Market hype, the former was known for its sleek and chic black and white dresses, tops, bottoms and etc. This new makeover comes with green, red, blue on a more down-to-earth tone. It is catered more towards the working class with quality fabric choices. It's a little too thick for my liking. What do you think?
Did you also note the steep change in style?
We spoke to the ground staff and we know, m)phosis is planning to expand all across Singapore. We also confirmed that there is a change in the management so everything will change. We learnt that the brand's trademark has expired and it is now bought over by Decks, which owns Surfers Paradise and Island Shop.
In short, it is unlikely to stay the same. There is no affiliation between the old and the new.

The Brand
According to the brand, m)phosis comes from a twist on the word "metamorphosis", it stands for the transformation a woman will experience when she allows her clothing to impact her wardrobe and her life.

We truly love the philosophy behind this brand!! Every girl must transform with dignity into a beautiful woman, confident in her own skin and style, ageing with grace and no shame.
Back in 2015, when it was announced that this well-loved brand will shut down all its store locally and overseas due to cash flow problems, many were angry and sad. Since then, there really isn't quite a boutique like this.
