If you've ever set foot in Hong Kong, you must have been to a cha chaan teng (茶餐廳). Among them is Tsui Wah Restaurant ("翠華餐廳" or "翠華"), a restaurant chain with over 60 outlets in Hong Kong, Macau and China.
Guess what? They are coming to Singapore this June 15. Woohoo!

We are suckers for milk tea and yummy Hong Kong-style pastries and if you are too, you will love Tsui Wah.
Tsui Wah Restaurant Singapore will be opening its doors to public at its 140-diner restaurant space in Clarke Quay on 15 June 2018 (Friday) at 1pm.
Some of their signature items also include their Milk Tea, Crispy Bun with Condensed Milk, the Curry Series and more!
Unlike regular food chains in Singapore where most branches take on the same look, Tsui Wah does it differently (at least in Hong Kong).
Here are some of the ones we've picked out:
1. Here's how Tsui Wah look in Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong

This makes me wonder how the one in Clarke Quay is going to look.... After all, this would mark Tsui Wah's first Southeast Asia expansion. Do you guys think it will look fancy and retro-ish like the one in Lan Kwai Fong or the one in Yuen Long or....
One comforting news is that Tsui Wah would be sending their Hong Kong chefs (woohoo!) to overlook operations in Singapore. They would help local staff with food preparation and ensure food served is of the same quality and freshness as their restaurants in Hong Kong.
