4 Movies To Watch On The Big Screen This June
I went to a galaxy far, far away today. And I loved every bit of it! If you're a movie fanatic like me, read on.
Photo from Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)
I've been hitting the theatres lately for must-watch blockbusters like Deadpool 2 and Solo: A Star Wars Story (I watched it for Emilia Clarke but wow, this Han Solo story is 10/10 to me!) and I just can't get enough.
Watching movies in Singapore can be quite pricey and it may seem like a boring date but to me it's more than perfect.
If you haven't been to the movies for awhile and would like to plan one, consider these 5 movies you could watch with your boyfie, girl squad or your family! :)
*They're in chronological order
1. Adrift
Shailene Woodley is a familiar face to many popular shows like The Fault In Our Stars and the Divergent series but she switches it up as Tami Oldham, a free spirited sailor in this movie.
Adrift is based on the inspiring true story of two free spirits whose encounter led them to love followed by the adventure of a lifetime out in the ocean. Things went downhill when they sailed directly into one of the most catastrophic hurricanes in history. After surviving the storm, her partner Richard Sharp (Sam Claflin) becomes badly injured and their boat is in ruins.
Watch this movie to see how the two of them fought to find their way back home against all odds.
Release date: 31 May (not exactly June but close enough :P)

2. Incredibles 2
Alas! 14 years later and we're finally getting the Incredibles sequel we were promised. In this sequel, Jack-Jack remains an infant (yay, cutie!) and would not follow a '14 years later' timeline. The movie would pick up where the first movie ended and according to the writer (who's reprising the same role as in the first movie), this sequel would focus more on Helen Parr aka Elastigirl.
Opening date: 14 June

3. Ocean's 8
We covered this movie in our previous article and we cannot express how stoked we are for this movie with some of our favourite stars.
In this movie, Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock), gathers together a crew of seven other women to attempt an impossible $150 million jewel heist at New York City's yearly Met Gala.
