With the Lunar New Year right around the corner, it comes as no surprise that salons everywhere are flooded with customers. After all, there’s no better time to reinvent ourselves with a new hairstyle. Want to achieve the hair makeover of your dreams without enduring long waits and treatment procedures? Well, forgo your salon appointment and dye your hair at home instead!
Our preferred box dye? Undoubtedly, Salon de Pro’s The Cream. But don’t just take our word for it. Social media personalities — Jolene Tan (@jjloves86), Gizelle Gai (@gizellegail), Sng Yi Xin (@snnngorious), and more — recently shared glowing reviews of the product.
If you’re curious about the dyeing process, keep scrolling because Team GirlStyle dropped by Samantha Goh’s (@society.os) crib to capture her hair transformation.

As you can see, Samantha started with brown hair (and some well-concealed grey strands). Even though it was her first time using box dye, she was crystal clear on the dyeing process because the instructions provided were straightforward.

With just one push, Samantha was able to dispense two agents — one in mustard and the other in white — onto a brush. Then, she combed her hair, spreading the formula all over her tresses. After ensuring that the product was evenly distributed, she waited 15 minutes and allowed the product to work its magic. She also marvelled at the fact that the dye was odourless.
Once the wait was over, all she had to do was take a quick shower and dry her hair to see the results of the dye. Samantha was pleased with the dark brown shade and also impressed by how her tresses remained soft and silky.

That’s because The Cream contains a total of six deeply hydrating ingredients: camellia oil, rosehip oil, pearl extract, royal jelly, hawthorn extract, and seaweed extract. Together, they form a protective shield against harsh chemicals and contribute to the dye’s lasting vibrancy.
So for those of you who are in search of an affordable box dye, consider The Cream by Salon de Pro. It's conveniently available at DON DON DONKI, Watsons, and NTUC FairPrice stores islandwide at just over $20.
