"Now is Not the Time" Is A New Art Exhibition Celebrating The Legacy Of Lee Kuan Yew
16 September would have been the 100th birthday of the late Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore's first prime minister. Paying tribute to him is a new art exhibition titled "Now is Not the Time". It might read as a history lesson on the surface, but actually incorporates virtual production, AI art, Instagrammable architecture and more for an immersive experience that's as riveting as it is informative.
Organised and produced by virtual production and animation house X3D Studio, the exhibition brings together works by pool of top global talent including the American artist Daniel Arsham, who created a full-body sculpture of Mr Lee in a pivotal moment in history - right when he declared Singapore's separation from Malaysia.

A particularly Gen Z-approved section is The Time Portal. This dreamy installation tells the story of Lee Kuan Yew through Augmented Reality and AI technology.

Another highlights is the Mirror Maze Installation reflecting Singaporeans' collective identity that transcends cultural boundaries.
